How does New Wave Club membership work?

Memberships are annual and give you access to our fleet of boats and jetskis. All sessions are booked via our seamless app, and tuition from RYA-qualified instructors is included.

How much does a boat or jetski membership cost?

Boat memberships start at £595/month (Gold) and £795/month (Platinum) with a one-off joining/training fee. Jetski memberships start at £165/month (Gold) and £200/month (Platinum) with a one-off training fee.

Can I bring my dog on board?

Yes, all our boats and jetskis are dog-friendly, so you can share your boating adventures with your pets.

How many sessions can I book per month?

Boat members can book up to 8 sessions per month, and jetski members up to 6 sessions, all via the booking app.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No experience is necessary. Our RYA-qualified instructors provide tuition to ensure all members ride safely and confidently.

Can I ride the jetskis without an instructor present?

Yes, members can use the jetskis independently, giving you the same freedom as owning one while still having expert tuition available when needed.

Can I use membership for client or staff entertainment?

Yes, many small business owners use memberships for client and staff entertainment. It’s hassle-free and fully covered, making it a deductible expense.

What areas can I explore from Poole Harbour?

Members can enjoy a wide cruising area along the Jurassic Coast and over to the Isle of Wight, all accessible from our deep-water marina.

Are the boats and jetskis available year-round?

Yes, our fleet is accessible 365 days a year, allowing members to enjoy both winter and summer sessions.

Are there any additional costs?

Apart from fuel and a small security deposit, all other costs are included in your membership fee.

FAQs

How Does Subscription Boating and Jetskiing Work?

All Jet ski and Boat Memberships are based on an annual 12 month Contract. Members can sign up at any point of the Year. Our RYA Jet ski and Boat training runs all year round to assist in this process. Once Trained members have exclusive access to our fleet of Jetskis and Boats to use at their leisure.

How much usage do I get?

Every day will be broken down to three sessions – (Sunrise – 12.00) , (12.30 – 16.30), (17.00 – one hour before sunset)

Jetski members are allocated 2 weekend (Peak) and 4 weekday (Off-Peak) sessions per month. Boat Members 4 weekend (Peak) and 4 weekday (Off-Peak) sessions per month

Back to Back sessions are also possible should a member want longer out on the water but due to the proximity of everything to the marina we often find this time length suitable for most member sessions.

The system allows members both the ability to book sessions up to 2 months in advanced for special occasions as well as last minute, even if the session time has already started.

Members are able to purchase additional sessions if required within a 24 hour period.

How do I book my sessions?

Our booking app was built bespokely for us with many unique features. We have worked hard to make sure it gives members complete flexibility around the booking procedure incorporating both future and last minute booking scenarios and ability to cancel a session up to 24 hours in advance or buy extra sessions if required.

What is the session availability like?

This is the number one question we get asked and we understand why, the short answer is fantastic.

We closely monitor our vessel to member ratios, and have developed our booking system for complete flexibility.

We have been operating since 2009 and have gained valuable experience of how to provide the best service for our members.

Are there any other costs involved?

Just the fuel that you use and a security deposit.

Jetski members are responsible for refuelling the Jetski at the end of their session ready for the next member.

Boat members can either refuel at the end of their session or will log the fuel used at the end of their session and pay a small service charge for our team to refuel.

Jetski members will pay a £500 security deposit, Gold Boat Members a £1000 Security deposit and Platinum Boat Members a £2000 security deposit.

Is there any safety equipment on the vessels?

All our club boats are either MCA Coded or local council coded and therefore carry a full range of safety equipment on board including lifejackets. The only additional safety equipment you may require is life jackets for children.

The Jetskis also carry safety equipment onboard, including Anchor, tow rope, Flares, knife and first aid kit.

How many people can I take out on the vessels with me

Please take a look at our fleet information as this varies per boat. The Jetskis can carry a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child.

Can I use the vessels for fishing?

Yes this is not a problem and we even have some custom fishing boxes with rod holders that attach to the Jetskis. We just ask members to not gut/clean fish on the vessels and to give them a good clean afterwards.

Are the vessels available all year round?

Yes, apart from when they are out the water for maintenance the vessels are available all year round. We find with the appropriate gear some of the best time on the water can be in the off peak months.

What if I break down?

We pride ourselves in professionally maintaining all the vessels but should you run into an issue this isn't an issue as they are all covered by Sea Start break down service.
